CTT Recognised in Business Awards

Mar 23, 2017

March 23, 2017 – Cambridge, UK – Cambridge Touch Technologies was shortlisted for four categories including Business of the Year in the latest Business Awards, announced last night at Queens’ College Cambridge.

Other categories for which they were nominated included Start-up company of the Year and Cambridge Torchbearer of the Year.

The awards, now in their 28th year, are judged to discover the most exciting and promising new companies. Past winners in the Awards include ARM, CSR, Abcam, Autonomy and other companies that went on to global success.

CTT’s 3D Multi-Touch technology enhances user experience of smartphones, tablets,
2-in-1 notebooks, and automotive displays, by sensing both the location and the force of a touch simultaneously, and can respond to single or multi-finger gestures. Its performance equals or exceeds current 3D touch technologies on the market, but is simpler to manufacture and more cost competitive in a $25b-a-year market.

“We are delighted and honoured to have been recognised in these awards alongside other impressive innovative companies”, said CTT’s CEO, Corbin Church. “Coming on the back of successful visits to CES in Las Vegas and Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, we are seeing accelerating progress during 2017.   Being shortlisted for the Business Weekly awards is yet another great milestone for our company.”
